On language and respect ...

We would very much like the PRA community to be inclusive, respectful and one that treats members, guests and others with the respect that each of us would like to be treated individually. We wish for everyone to enjoy their time here in a friendly, helpful and informational environment. PRA should be a welcoming home for hobbyists.

Our community is not in competition with anyone or anything. It was not conceived or implemented as any sort of alternative. An online community powered by hobbyists for hobbyists has been a dream of Poppa Ryno's for quite some time. These hobbyists necessarily include people of varying ages and sensibilities.

In that spirit, please be mindful of the language you use on the forums. We do not wish to take a hard line on language at this point. Remember that these are public forums. Please try to avoid using profanity as much as possible. Everything has its place and we should all know by now what sort of language and conduct is generally acceptable and not acceptable in a public venue.

Please also refrain from bashing or otherwise denigrating persons, stores, other sites or any other entities by name or in any way that makes the target obvious either directly or by insinuation. In fact, please try not to bash anyone or anything at all. Feel free to use alternatives like, for example, "big box store", "other site", "another site", etc., in reference if you are posting something that might be deemed unfavorable. If you do feel the need to denigrate others, please do so outside these forums.

Please take a moment to review the Terms of Service and Rules at the bottom of the site, as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Poppa Ryno.
