So I saw this product reviewed the other day. I thought I would try it out. I miss the protein skimmer that I had on my Tidal HOB filter. I don’t want to add any other big equipment to the tank. Has anyone used this before? Mine arrived today, so i will hook it up later and let you know how it goes.

Alrighty so I have had it on the tank for about 10 minutes and the surface is completely clear. I am actually nicely surprised. I didn’t get pictures, sorry. But so far it is worth the $17 I spent on it.

Sounds good, I've always wanted to try one out myself but never really got around to buying one.
I've found some on Ebay that are around $10 or something really cheap.

It has been working so well, that I unplugged the sponge filters I was using to disrupt the surface of the water. I am going to wait a few hours and see how it goes. So far so good though. I give it an A+ so far.
